Company History
		Line Shack Log Structures was formed in 1991 in Prineville, Oregon. Its initial goal, as the name implies, was to manufacture small cabins for use in campgrounds, RV parks and hunting cabins. One of the first cabins Line Shack built went into an RV park in Central Oregon. Before it was completed some folks drove by and saw our product and wanted a home for their ranch built. From that point on, Line Shack Log Structures has been producing quality log kits of all sizes - from log outhouses to large custom homes.              Line Shack Log Structures is small in size, but not small on ideas. We are geared towards producing a quality product which in turn will produce a very satisfied customer. Our number one goal is to work with you, the customer, in designing a structure that is everything you have ever dreamed of. Line Shack will settle for nothing less!     Harvesting logs from private timber ground helps us to control the quality of logs we use. We have access to stands of pine and Western Juniper ( YES, Western Juniper!). Line Shack can also access other species of trees such as Douglas Fir and Larch (Tamarack) if desired. We build with dry wall logs only. Logs that are harvested green will be dry decked to season accordingly.
